TEAMS on MAC launching fullscreen

How do I stop TEAMS from launch into full screen? It just started doing this.

    I also encounter the issue. So it's not really going into macOS full screen mode, but the window scales to the maximum. Equal to the Window->Zoom menu feature. Very irritating.

    I don't know if it's related. But I'm running two monitors. And the second external monitor is set to contain the Dock and is where Teams is appearing.

    Yes, that is a more accurate description of the issue. I said it launches full screen but LZandman is correct - I meant to say it opens fully maximized. A rose by another other name is just as annoying! :p

    I also am running two monitors. I have a 2015 MBP that in clamshell mode (ie closed), driving two LG 34" 3440 x 1440 ultra wide monitors via Thunderbolt.

    Same here. I got a MBP2016 and a M1 mac mini. This happens only on my mac mini, which is annoying.

    I'm also on a intel MacBook.

    I have updated Teams to the version 1.4.00.573 on the 13/01/2021 and it seems to have disapeared.

    Let's see . . . 

    About an hour ago I downloaded Teams_osx.pkg from https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/microsoft-teams/download-app.

    It is Version 1.4.00.4971 with md5sum:

    66a54ffb68ad394a6e2a06d3f33172d3 Teams_osx.pkg

    And it has the same issue of zooming to full size after restoring.
