A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
I contacted one drive help and they said they know and are working on it.

I've been experimenting with OneDrive to store photos with tagging. Everything seemed to be working great until I went in to OneDrive today. When I use the search bar to search for tags, nothing returns where I know tags exist. When I go into the details of a photo, it doesn't mention anything about the tags for that photo. Additionally, the "Edit Tags" option is no longer there.
Did I miss something? Was there a functionality change?
Thanks.

Likewise I am experiencing the same problem. I cannot see tags or search tags. This includes those already in the EXIF data as well as those normally automatically generated by OneDrive.
The following feature does not work
Search and discover
Quickly find you’re your files using keywords or dates. Search your photos using tags, dates, or the objects in your photos (i.e., beach, snow).
Keeping searching for a solution or explanation about the missing TAGs in Onedrive website but haven't found anything yet.
I found a concern information about Sharepoint:
SharePoint Tags & Notes feature retired
I can not understand why Microsoft has been killing this feature overtime and in this website they offered some workaround for the lack of TAGS and comments on files.
But going back to photos, hopefully this decision (I don't know if it is new or not because I was not able to find a date on the article) will not affect Onedrive and photo TAGs.
Recently I have been investing a lot of time tagging my photos in my computer before upload to Onedrive website.
(just a side note, I'm using Directory Opus 12, where I can tag a photo or a file keeping the "Date modified" untouched, export the date modified to date taken when this field is empty or export the date taken to the date modified field when I'm pretty sure that the date taken is the correct field - I can also add a new TAG to several photos preserving the TAGs that they already have)
Update on my ticket exposing the editability issues of tags on photos on desktop that are broken by OneDrive that could happen to any photo, any time:
They sent me an email saying I'd not replied and I had 3 days to reply to keep my ticket open. I immediately replied in detail and with copies of my last reply and the last reply from the customer service person saying the engineers were looking at my technical information I'd supplied (for the third time).
3 days later they said I'd never responded and then closed my ticket.
I responded again to the closed email and to my last email chain from the truly awful customer service dude demanding my ticket be reopened. It's been over a week now and no reply, so they've deliberately swept it under the rug as far as I'm concerned.
Reproducing the error on 3 devices, 3 different accounts now (I got the editability to break on a family member's account too, so two of mine in testing and theirs) and a fellow forum user also expressing issues after some edits too: Shut it down. Pretend they don't have a systemic issue with their service that people pay a lot of money for for the premium family package.
Disgraceful Microsoft. You're a joke.
Alternatives:
I don't have the money for Adobe really speaking it's just not the flexibility and value for money I'd want as I pay for family access because they're rubbish about photos though it would be my preferred option as there are people tags integrated too. Google doesn't thrill me either, the family plan is less value for money than MS but I'm going to be buying space from Google for now and moving there.
