Data Protection Team Response Time: No call after 9 days

Hi Microsoft staff,

I currently no access to my business account.

I have called support on 2 occasions (2******7) and (2******6) this first being 9 days ago now.

I understand only the data protection team can help me regain access

I have been advised there is usually a 48 hour turn around; however, there is a backlog due to Covid-19.

Can someone please escalate this matter and call me asap? We cant produce any work at the moment for our clients or respond to queries. Everything is run through 365.

Kind regards

NathanM4

So I'm not the only one frustrated with Microsoft's lack of support! I have a total of over 10 hours of on-hold time. I'm calling in on two phones (yet again) today - been on hold for over 5 hours just today. This is week 3 of trying to get a password reset.

What's shameful is that this is how they treat paying customers!

I have also been waiting 9 days now for a reply, absolute joke!,

I have contacted them again for another issue I need them to resolve and it sounded like they just wanted me off the phone!

When they get you to hang up the can score another "fixed" problem ... (the manager reading their scorecard has no idea if it really was solved).

    .

When you have more than a trivial problem, when you call in ask for a trouble ticket number. That forces them to pay a little more attention. When you call back, give them the ticket number so they know this is not a new problem.

    .

When they promise to call back, force them to give you a specific date and time. If them miss the call, call them back immediately after the time window closes.

    .

Use the online chat method to contact them. Copy the conversation before closing the window. This way you have a date/time stamped transcript of the conversation. You can copy/paste when you get repetitive questions (like that never happens).

    Hey there,

were you able to find a solution?
did the data protection team reached out to you and able to fix the issue?

I am having a similar issue.
