Data Protection Team Response Time: No call after 9 days

Hi Microsoft staff,

I currently no access to my business account.

I have called support on 2 occasions (2******7) and (2******6) this first being 9 days ago now.

I understand only the data protection team can help me regain access

I have been advised there is usually a 48 hour turn around; however, there is a backlog due to Covid-19.

Can someone please escalate this matter and call me asap? We cant produce any work at the moment for our clients or respond to queries. Everything is run through 365.

Kind regards

NathanM4

    Hi

Did anyone find a way to speed up this process.

I'm now on day 10 waiting for Data Protection Team to call.

When I call MS support they always inform that Data Protection Team will  call me with in 24 hours.  But still no call and I have not been able to access my email's for more than 10 days.

This is the worst service I have experienced from a service company

    Hi,

It was finally resolved for me although I had to wait almost two weeks.

Very inconvenient and I was extremely unhappy since I am paying for a business product.

I would like to add when I finally did speak to a staff member they were very good. Just be mindful they are just following the process and cant deviate from this. It would be nice to see Microsoft increase staff in this team as it's clearly required.

There is your second mistake. You are under the delusion that MS provides service.

    .

If they don't call back at the appointed time, call them. Cite your trouble ticket number when you call in. You did ask for one on your previous contact?

    .

Make your complaint public. Post a general description of your problem and the "wonderful support" <sarcasm> on social media.

    .

Social Media- Twitter - Make your Pain Public, maybe then MS will fix the problem – And they usually reply

Hi NatahnM4. The exact same thing has happened to me and my business account 8 days ago. The customer service has been disgraceful. Microsoft shut me out of my admin account and advised it was an error at their end. This has had a critical impact on my business. I have no ability to talk to the Data Protection Team and the technical support engineers talk to you from a script like they are providing counselling with no ability to rectify issues. The last 8 days have been the most stressful I have ever encountered in my working career. I am a distraught small business owner being bullied by one of the largest businesses in the world. How do you get the help you need before it runs my business into the ground? Nicole Morgan- mobile <removed>
