Hi Microsoft staff,

I currently no access to my business account.

I have called support on 2 occasions (2******7) and (2******6) this first being 9 days ago now.

I understand only the data protection team can help me regain access

I have been advised there is usually a 48 hour turn around; however, there is a backlog due to Covid-19.

Can someone please escalate this matter and call me asap? We cant produce any work at the moment for our clients or respond to queries. Everything is run through 365.

Kind regards

NathanM4

    Hi  Nathan,

I’m sorry for what happened to you, since it is a public community, to protect your privacy, I’ve masked the Case numbers you provided, please don’t mind this.

Before that, I’ve checked the case details on my side, I can understand that you currently need further assistance from the Data Protection Team but have not received any response for 9 days.

I have escalated this thread to relevant team, they may contact you as soon as possible.

Sorry for the inconvenience to your work again, we sincerely hope you can back to work as soon as possible.

    Best Regards,

    Arck

    Hi Arck,

Thank you for your reply and escalating this concern to the relevant team.

I still have not been contacted although I hope to be contacted very soon. I would never have thought the issue I am experiencing would take anywhere near 9 days to resolve.

    Kind regards

    NathanM4

    Hi Arck,

Can you please advise what is the current response time for the data protection team?

This is day 10 and I have still not received any calls or emails.

This is devastating for our productivity and service to our clients.

    Kind regards

    NathanM4

MS support does not appear to be up to the task.

    .

Try shaming them on social media. They sometimes respond to public exposure ...

Social Media- Twitter - Make your Pain Public, maybe then MS will fix the problem – And they usually reply

Sorry, there is no good answer to that. If you, and all the others with this problem start tweeting it, making it more public, maybe then MS will finally be inspired to find the fix to the problem.

Microsoft has a number of dedicated teams that do this kind of support explicitly:

Make sure you send short link to them. They are known to be very responsive and might be able to point it in the right direction.

In the emails about your tech support case should be a contact for a "supervisor" or "tech lead" (I don't remember the exact phrase) that you should try to reach out to and make it clear to them that this is unacceptable. Don't give an inch and be very insistent.

Sometimes (no guarantees) that will light a fire under them because the last thing the useless supervisors want is a bad feedback that can jeopardize their cushy job.
