OUTBOUND SUBSCRIPTION

$105.00 was taken from my bank account and was listed as "Outbound Subscription" from Microsoft.

I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THIS IS.

I tried a free fax named "IFAX" and was set up to pay a monthly charge.  I cancelled it because it no longer works.

I searched for a phone number for Microsoft to question this but I don't see any number listed.

Meanwhile, I will dispute this charge with my bank, in hope that I will receive this money back.

This is not the best time to be ripped off, really need my money back.

That company is definitely a rip-off and I am amazed that Microsoft allows such companies on their shop. I have neither received help, no answer nor a refund.

So far at least they have not tried to charge for the second month.

They definitely are.  I did, however, get a hold of Microsoft via phone 877-696-7786 and they refunded my money.

You need to know your Microsoft email that you use to log in - they can find the subscription and refund.

good luck, as it did take a while to finally actually speak to a real human.

If you used paypal as your payment you can cancel automatic payments by going into your paypal account - setting - payment - manage subscription/auto payments.

Same story with me. This seems to be a scam. They deduct the amount and test for the stamina of the guys to pursue for the refund. I am sure more than 50% would leave in the way.  I did cancellation on the same day. The web interface was weird, and not showing if cancellation is completed. And no matter how many times you try to cancel, it would neither pop up an error nor confirm that cancellation is done. I opened up a case with ifax on same day. After multiple requests to tell me the procedure to precisely know the status of my subscription, they did not tell me the procedure. But they confirmed that my profile does not exist anymore.

Even then after a week, paypal deducted 99.99 (I have challenged it) After a day, I got microsoft email for the 'outbound subscription" and deduction. What a name for the service. There is no clue of what this outbound thing is. Initially I was unsure that it relates to ifax.

I replied to the Microsoft email, but no response. I tried to open the case with Microsoft; but the virtual agent has no clue of this problem and would not guide. This is frustrating. And with so many complaints, Microsoft must show some concern to resolve it.

Microsoft, please give my money back. I can forward you the trial cancellation emails to ifax on the 1st day (provided I know where to forward it)
