How do I turn off the end of support banner in office 2010 permanently? (Office 2010, Windows)

Hi, 

I have a home and student edition of office 2010 that I am perfectly comfortable with. Every time I open the office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), MS helpfully points out that support is ending and that I should upgrade to a newer version. Screenshot attached. 

I would like an exit from this persistent nagging and quasi privacy nightmare. Some regedit skills are in place and I can follow instructions when clearly given, even if they are complex in nature.

    And also turn this setting off:

    Roshanlal, why do you suggest this? It has nothing to do with the message in question. Any changes MS would make to the registry for Office will come through with or without this setting. Personally, I prefer to keep it on to simplify keeping Office up to date.

    I thought it wouldn't hurt since support is ending anyway so there won't be any more updates to Office 2010?

    I'm guessing the 2 keys that are in my registry ( "0:en-us" and "1:en-us") are for Excel and Word since those are the only products I use. Perhaps those who use Powerpoint, Accesss, etc would have more keys?

    That is as good a guess as any. But since this is an Office wide setting, "logically" I would expect that one key would be enough for the whole suite. But who knows what MS is thinking.

    As for updates, "Officially", yes all updates end on Oct 13. But unofficially people have noticed a few updates to 2007 and Win7 after they went End of Life. In a couple of very well publicized, generally used hacks MS has admitted creating updates for EOL programs, but it is very much the exception. Not something EOL uses can count on.

    Here's an update - I haven't been getting this message lately. However, when I get a document in my email and I save it to my PC and then open it, I get the message again. I tried deleting the TargetedMessagingService key but it gets created again whenever you open an Office document, with subkey "0:en" being the 1st document type you open (in my case, Word) and "1:en" when I opened an Excel document. By inference, if I were to open Powerpoint, it will create another subkey "2:en". So I changed the Header/TimeToNextcall dates again to year 2025. But this time, in the Body, I changed the MessageScenario value from 6 to 0. I then downloaded another document, saved it and when I open it I don't get the "Support ending" message. Fingers crossed!
