How do I turn off the end of support banner in office 2010 permanently? (Office 2010, Windows)

OK, I took a look at this other site ...

Sure they say the right things, better than the first one did. Maybe they are better at finding scammers than Amazon (that would be trivially easy), the question remains. Where do the people they front for find keys at these prices?  Software is not like a truck load fruit, which does have a very definite "best before" date, after which even I would expect the store to pay ME to haul it away

So what do they suggest, you spend $6 to buy a "guarantee" from them to help you if your key doesn't' work.  Good deal for them.  Why should you pay extra if they have already done their job and vetted the suppliers?

Now, I don't say I trust this reviewer, this is the first time I've seen them. But the idea is to find a reviewer you trust and see what they say.

As I said before. When dealing with this sort of site, either you get independent confirmation that the site is trustworthy, or you are willing to gamble the price of your purchase that you will get at least a year or two of use out of it...

For whatever it is worth I emailed me two Word files from a different computer.  I had reset the MessageScenario for Word (0:en) from 6 to 0 as suggested here and I rebooted the PC.  I then opened the first Word file and got the "Protected View" banner warning (which I like) but did not get an Office 2010 EOL warning (good) as I had the TimeToNextcall set to 2025.

I then set the MessageScenario back to 0, rebooted, and opened the second Word file.  I opened the second Word file and got the same "Protected View" warning but not the EOL warning.  So it appears that setting the MessageScenario form 6 to 0 has NO effect, at least on my PC.  Feedback welcome.

Edit:  Also FWIW, I did a bit of research (not always good) and found out that under Message/Header the "CallDelta" DWORD value of 15180 (86400) means 24 hours.  Per a Google book the entry is in seconds and the decimal value of 86400 is the number of seconds in 24 hours (15180 is the hexadecimal value).  Regardless of this setting when I open PP (registry entries for PP were left unchanged) I get an increase of 48 hours to NextCall, not 24 hours.  So I don't know what to make of this; there must be something else creating the 48 hour interval.  Any comments?

It's best to stay away from these "grey area" deals. I'm happy with the 2010 as long as they don't bug me with their banner.

But some people insist these grey sites are a "good deal". I just want those people to realize that they are gambling with their money, and personal information/credit card (forgot to mention that part).

MS didn't announce, they dribbled out (like an id-10-t drooling on his own chin) the news that the next version of Office will be released 2nd half 2021. No name ,Office 2022 is a likely guess, or specific date, October(?).  Personally I would prefer an earlier release, Summer rather than autumn so students could buy it rather than 365 ... or wasting money on 2016 with it's shorter End Of Life date.

I LOVE YOU!  It worked for me.  That banner was so annoying!
