Microsoft teams application will no longer login.

I currently am working remotely and we use teams to communicate within our office.  Teams has given intermittent troubles.  It will not allow me to login sometimes.  When this happens I have to uninstall and reinstall the application, now that won't work at all.  I like to run the teams app on my local computer while using work vpn.  Currently using the web app to work.  Even an uninstall and reinstall will not work.  Please help.

    There's a more permanent way to sign in to Microsoft Teams. If you're having trouble completing the process, talk to your IT admin.

    I am also facing the same issue, I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but still, it is showing the same error.

    Hey, try to run the application in compatibility mode for windows 8 or 7,

    worked for me.

    I have done that as well. But again no clue.

    Even I have cleared the %appdata%\Microsoft\teams .. still, I am not able to log in to it.

    I had this same Issue. VPN in from home computer, but teams will not sign in. To resolve I removed teams from my system and reinstalled via this link.

    I downloaded the file version that is for work or school. And installed. It opened without even asking me to sign in. I think this is because my work credentials are linked in my settings > accounts > School and work accounts in windows. Hope this helps someone!
