Microsoft teams application will no longer login.

I currently am working remotely and we use teams to communicate within our office.  Teams has given intermittent troubles.  It will not allow me to login sometimes.  When this happens I have to uninstall and reinstall the application, now that won't work at all.  I like to run the teams app on my local computer while using work vpn.  Currently using the web app to work.  Even an uninstall and reinstall will not work.  Please help.

    Hello. I had problem signing into microsoft teams as well. It happens everytime when i wished to start the applications. It shows that i had problem signing in, even though i had my passwords and email id correct. Therefore i had to uninstall my microsoft teams everytime and download it again. It sounds stupidly hilarious but it worked most of the times. But recently, this couldnt helped at all. I could not use the application and i had to go to the web version, which is frustrating because the web version cannot apply background effects. Its very annoying. Up until this step, to sign out and sign in again, ive did it a thousand of times, could not work for me. I hope this problems can be fixed ASAP.

    What worked for me:

    I had to disconnect my work account from my device. Go to Settings > Accounts, then click Access work or school. I clicked my work account and clicked Disconnect. Then I tried signing in to Teams but this time I chose Sign in to this app only.

    I tried rebooting and Teams stayed logged in.

    Hi Filmonl，

    Given this situation, we’d give you some suggestions below and hope that will help you:

    1. Type Credential Manager in Windows search box and open it.
    2. Open Windows Credentials tab remove all the credentials named msteams_adalsso/adal_context
          Note: Please back up first before you delete them.
    3. Sign out Teams desktop client and exit Teams completely. Go to %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Cache and delete all the files. Then go to %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Application Cache\Cache, delete all the files. Re-open Teams to see if you can sign in successfully.

    Meanwhile, I'd like to confirm the application's version number as well. What account do you use to log into the Teams application?
