I have this message appearing on my iPad every 20 seconds or so. I use an Office365 exchange account to sync email, contacts and calendar onto the iPad and also use Onedrive for storage along with Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
I have had periods of tim when this error message appears, but usually only for 24 hours max. If it is for a prolonged period, I found that deleting the Exchange account from the iPad and setting it up again often cured the problem.
This time it has been going on for weeks, with no let-up. I have deleted and set the account up again twice, to no avail. Please help it's driving me bonkers.

The email service is listed as imap-mail.outlook.com (not outlook.office365.com).
The error message is still popping up.
Did you try changing the email server to outlook.com (from outlook.office365.com)? That was posted earlier as a fix and it worked for me (and a handful of others who applied it).

I'm having the exact same issue....same expiration date (10/7/21) too!
Still looking for specific mail settings to configure a SHARED mailbox in the native iOS mail app, NOT by downloading the Outlook iOS app. I have my main Office365 email account configured, but I can't get the settings to go through for the shared mailboxes. Anyone out there that was able to set this up and if so, what were the settings?
