After searching online in vain to troubleshoot an issue for over an hour....

does anyone have a number to Microsoft help (where a human being answers?)

    I can't access my email account on my PC. I keep getting the message  'couldn't log on to the incoming (IMAP) server. Check email address and PW and try again.' But it doesn't accept any PW and can't create a new one.

    In account settings 'Enter your UN and PW for the following server:

    smtp.mail.att.net ' . PW does not work and I can't get to where I can change it.

    Also 'connection to the server was interrupted'. 

    Also Outlook is out of date. I did update it. I have Outlook 365 Home version

    Got your message and I don't know what you are talking about.  I did not send that message.  I had trouble with getting over and over and over many times that I did not want and had put it in the junk mail, still got it and on my regular email.  It has finally subsided and maybe I succeeded in getting rid of it.
