After searching online in vain to troubleshoot an issue for over an hour....

does anyone have a number to Microsoft help (where a human being answers?)

    I have paid my subscription fee but cannot get into word etc. When I tried to call technical support, I was referred to a website. What is the phone number that I can use to reach technical support?  Joseph Lowe III  <phone number removed>   Thank you.

    1. Which version of  Office?
    2. Which version of Windows?
    3. What message are you seeing when you try to open Word

       or another Office program?
