Cannot enable OneDrive 'Camera Upload'

Hello,

I want to free up space on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.

When I try to enable 'Free up space on the device' in the OneDrive app, I get the message:

'Camera upload must be enabled ...'

The problem is that there is no camera upload setting anymore.

Or am I missing something here ...?

I use the latest version of Android and version 6.1.1 of OneDrive.

Thanks!

I eventually had to sign out of OneDrive and then back in. Once I did the option finally appeared. I also ended up removing the Samsung account from my phone. I don't know if that helped or not.

Bryan, signing out of my Samsung account reset syncing with onedrive. Great suggestion. Thanks.

Hi, for my new phone, the first account i signed up with onedrive is my work one, so it auto synced to that account. Now I have turned off sync for that account and turned on sync on my personal account. Problem is the camera upload will only work if i turn on with my work email and has no option for my personal

Onedrive doesn't't let me sign out of my personal account but lets le sign out of my other 2.

All these probs r in onedrive app

Seems like you have not tried this solution.

Camera upload does not appear as an option in the S9.

10 pages of responses and a waste of time, but thankfully this should be elevated as the correct answer (go to phone settings, accounts and backup, manage accounts, OneDrive, turn on Media Storage sync) and the thread just closed. Thank you!
