I had the same problem. You must delete Samsung Gallery in your Microsoft account, AND you must also go into your Samsung account and delete the Microsoft OneDrive link.

Hello,
I want to free up space on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.
When I try to enable 'Free up space on the device' in the OneDrive app, I get the message:
'Camera upload must be enabled ...'
The problem is that there is no camera upload setting anymore.
Or am I missing something here ...?
I use the latest version of Android and version 6.1.1 of OneDrive.
Thanks!

This worked. Thanks.
I singed in to my Samsung account then in Services - Connected Services, I unlinked my Microsoft account. After that the "Camera upload" showed up on the OneDrive App on my phone.
THanks this is the only thing I found that worked
Yes. That did it! Wow. Dumb. But wow.
