Cannot enable OneDrive 'Camera Upload'

Hello,

I want to free up space on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.

When I try to enable 'Free up space on the device' in the OneDrive app, I get the message:

'Camera upload must be enabled ...'

The problem is that there is no camera upload setting anymore.

Or am I missing something here ...?

I use the latest version of Android and version 6.1.1 of OneDrive.

Thanks!

Had this problem after switching phones, and I managed to enable camera upload without removing my samsung account.

This is what worked for me:

Go to settings> Accounts and Backup> Accounts> Onedrive (this shows your connected email)> Sync Account> enable the ticker for Media Storage

I still have all my accounts connected and camera upload is finally back. :)

You Sir are a genius. I was using the other solution, but then of course I lost the Samsung Gallery on OneDrive, but your solution is even better because both Camera Upload and Samsung Gallery on One Drive both work!

    This is the proper solution!!!!

If you read the answers above on this thread you will learn how to get the camera upload setting back. In short, you need to delete the Samsung account from your One Drive.

Disconnect the Samsung account, and then log off and then back onto OneDrive on your phone. it worked for me.
