Hello,
I want to free up space on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.
When I try to enable 'Free up space on the device' in the OneDrive app, I get the message:
'Camera upload must be enabled ...'
The problem is that there is no camera upload setting anymore.
Or am I missing something here ...?
I use the latest version of Android and version 6.1.1 of OneDrive.
Thanks!

Camera Upload will only be available if no other app or service is handling the storage of photos on Onedrive, because Onedrive restricts upload to one service per device. When all services/apps not doing the upload to Onedrive are cancelled (turned off, removed, or on the Windows page for your device, permissions revoked etc.) then the Upload option will reappear. If it is missing something else is handling the uploads.
I've done this, but I still don't have a "Camera Upload" option under my Onedrive settings.
I hadn't realised this was where they were all saving and although that is useful the app cannot detect all of the dates that the photos were taken and so now all of my photos are mixed up because their upload date was the same, any fixes for this??
I don't know a specific fix regarding dates, but of course in the future every time you take a new photo with your phone it will automatically update to your computer on that date so all future photos should have the correct date.
Personally I don't use dates to organise my photos, I use folders instead. So once the photos are on my computer I move them to their respective folders.
Something to bear in mind is that, unlike Camera Upload, when you delete a photo from Samsung Gallery it will delete it from you phone and vice versa. I don't find this is a problem now that I understand what is actually happening.
