We have a requirement to list all of our upcoming tasks on Gantt Charts.

I would like to use Microsoft teams and planner to enter the tasks.

Is there a way I can create / Download this data to Gantt style charts?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for posting in our forum.

We can use Planner in Teams and work on plan from within Teams or in Planner for web. We fully understand that it would be more convenient if the tasks can be shown in Gantt chart in Planner. However, for now, Gantt Chart is not available in Planner.

Fortunately, based on this thread in Planner UserVoice, the related team confirmed that this feature will be available in Planner later in this year.  We suggest that you monitor this thread for the firsthand update. Let’s wait for this view together.

Appreciated for your understanding.

Best Regards,

Ivy

Great question, We gave up on ever receiving a response and went with a different product that delivers what we need.

    This is too disappointing

The common request seen in the comments accumulating here is obvious - we want MS Planner to have a Gantt chart view. That's all.

A big fail, I would say.

MS Project is not accessible on MS Teams, even.

If I had a choice I would request my corporate IT team to migrate away from MS. Unfortunately for me and fortunately for Microsoft, I don't.

But rest assured we will continue voicing how how archaic and non-receptive Microsoft is, even when the voices are this loud and clear.

    Ivy,

In your response here, you mention that the Gnatt chart view will be available "later this year".  Can you provide additional information, since we are nearing the end of the year?

I am charged with guiding my team's implementation of these tools for project management and this feature is the one holding up the final decisions.

    Thank you!

    LAlter

    Hi Ivy,

The linked article refers to MS Project. The question was regarding MS Planner. Is there a plan to add Gantt to Planner?
