how to install office home and student 2019 on a new computer

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, HOW DO I GO ABOUT IT?

Mary,  Office Home and Student 2019 and Office 365 are two different versions of Office.  Office Home and Student 2019 is a one-time payment version of Office.  Microsoft Office 365 is a subscription version of Office, that is you must pay a subscription either monthly or yearly.  You cannot run both versions of Office at the same time on the same computer.  If you just want Office Home and Student 2019 then you should uninstall Microsoft Office 365.

we bought office home & student (2019) a few weeks ago we installed it on Microsoft 365 - the problem that we are having is, it's asking for a subscription. Why is it asking since we already paid for it? Help, please. We need it for school.

Which error messages are you seeing, if any? Typically, you enter the product key for a perpetual license in the form at https://setup.office.com. You will be asked to associate the product with a Microsoft account.
