Not Able to Post Videos to my Sway documents

I've been updating videos for a number of my existing Sway documents and since 1/21, I've been unable to add new videos. 

Getting the error "There's a problem and the video couldn't be added to your Sway. Try again."

I've tried with different Sway documents, on my home office WiFi as well as my office Wifi.

Logged out and back in, re-started my computer.

Is there any way to fix?  

I've seen past issues (2018) in this question feed and the fix has been wait for 24 hours, which I have.

Anyone else having the same issue recently? And is there any fix?

    Good question, Zariah.  While you cannot do this when uploading or inserting a video, you can get this to work if you use the Embed feature.  Go to YouTube and grab the embed code for a video, add "?autoplay=1" to the end of the source URL, and stick that into an Embed card in Sway.  Hope this works for you.

    I recorded a screen cast today (as MP4) and tried to upload it but I'm getting the same error. I converted it to an animated GIF and it worked. However, I prefer to use a video.

    Hi Nick,

    Does this error happen with all video files?  Have you tried a smaller one?  It could just be related to video size and network latency - we've seen this error happen when the upload times out due to one of those.

    I converted the file to MOV and it worked.  Not sure if that can help others?

    Glad to hear that!  In general, we do support MP4 files, however, depending on the program you use to create it, it could be using a codec that we don't support.  Converting it to another file format, as you have done, is one way to work around this.  Converting it back to an MP4 using a different program will probably also allow it to work.  Let us know if you have any other questions.
