Not Able to Post Videos to my Sway documents

I've been updating videos for a number of my existing Sway documents and since 1/21, I've been unable to add new videos. 

Getting the error "There's a problem and the video couldn't be added to your Sway. Try again."

I've tried with different Sway documents, on my home office WiFi as well as my office Wifi.

Logged out and back in, re-started my computer.

Is there any way to fix?  

I've seen past issues (2018) in this question feed and the fix has been wait for 24 hours, which I have.

Anyone else having the same issue recently? And is there any fix?

    Hi Jason,

    Yes, this is repro with a 2MB video file.

    I am selecting the video via upload from local.  I was able to upload successfully yesterday using this approach.

    When I select upload from OneDrive source, when i navigate to that folder, it says "Sorry, we couldn’t find anything that you can add to Sway.", but there are .mp4 files inside that folder.

    Hi Jason, 

    same issue here, literally something must have happened over night, last night it was all good, now today, uploading an MP4 to Sway, nup, nothing, not working. 

    Any advice?

    Hi Jamie,

    Does this repro with a small video?  I ask because video upload is dependent upon your network connection speed which can be affected by many things.  Also, are you selecting the video from the OneDrive source in the Insert pane or are you doing an upload of the file from your local computer?  You mention OneDrive and I want to make sure you mean you are trying to insert it from that service, not upload it to that service.

    Hi,

    I have the same issue today.  Unable to upload videos to Sway.

    I was able to do it yesterday.

    The video file is about 50mb, and it's in my onedrive.

    Tried on 2 laptops, different browsers, unable to upload and the error message is "There's a problem and the video couldn't be added to your Sway. Try again."

    Tried multiple times and same error occurred.

    Pls assist.

    It turned out Lisa was trying to use a video from Stream by downloading it to a file type that Sway doesn't support.  Embedding directly from the service is the recommended way to use Stream videos.
