Not Able to Post Videos to my Sway documents

I've been updating videos for a number of my existing Sway documents and since 1/21, I've been unable to add new videos.

Getting the error "There's a problem and the video couldn't be added to your Sway. Try again."

I've tried with different Sway documents, on my home office WiFi as well as my office Wifi.

Logged out and back in, re-started my computer.

Is there any way to fix?

I've seen past issues (2018) in this question feed and the fix has been wait for 24 hours, which I have.

Anyone else having the same issue recently? And is there any fix?

    Hi Beaker,

I'm not able to repro this issue right now and we don't see any evidence of it broadly not working so I need to gather some more information from you to get to the bottom of this.  Does this repro for you both with uploading videos from your computer as well as inserting them from OneDrive?

I am having exactly this problem, I was happily uploading videos and suddenly it just stopped, no matter what device I use or how long/short the video is. This is so frustrating

Glad to hear that!  In general, we do support MP4 files, however, depending on the program you use to create it, it could be using a codec that we don't support.  Converting it to another file format, as you have done, is one way to work around this.  Converting it back to an MP4 using a different program will probably also allow it to work.  Let us know if you have any other questions.

I converted the file to MOV and it worked.  Not sure if that can help others?

    Hi Nick,

Does this error happen with all video files?  Have you tried a smaller one?  It could just be related to video size and network latency - we've seen this error happen when the upload times out due to one of those.
