When I used to have problems with OneDrive I would uninstall it and then reinstall an older version. It would always work fine. Then later OneDrive would automatically update to the latest version and would also work fine. This is not the official answer of course but I was desperate.
Now tried everything people are suggesting except reinstalling Windows 10. Nothing works when trying to move to D drive. Works on the external drive F which is not what I am trying to do.
I've just returned to Windows after using a MAC. Beginning to reject it.
I did a Reset of my PC (which reinstalls Windows) and had no problems connecting OneDrive to my large secondary drive. But I had no problems with OneDrive to begin with. If you have only a few programs installed and have good data backups you might want to try a Reset. It may not fix your problem however. It did fix a browser crashing issue I had. I often like to start over afresh on my PC.
After all these weeks, still waiting for a fix from microsoft.
