Unfortunately that doesn't work for me. It starts with a republish button and then as I am editing it changes to saved.

Recently, when I click the Edit button to go into Editing mode in SharePoint Online, the Republish button doesn't display where it used to. In order to get it to show back up I have to refresh the page.
As you can see, this quickly becomes annoying. Please help!

I have the same problem only now it takes all my text away! and leaves the page blank. I have reentered the text about ten times now and it saves, then I go back and its blank!

Hi,
This was happening to me.
I found that you have to wait until it says 'page saved' then click 'save as draft', then hit the refresh button.
If I don't hit 'save as draft' it wipes away text on the page intermittently.
It's never done it when I hit 'save as draft'.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
Jen
Eric, scrolling through this post it is clear that this is a bug affecting many tenancies and many users.
I can confirm we are also having this problem in our tenancy.
2 users have reported it to me so far.
Usually refreshing a few times, or opening the page in a different browser, will show the "republish" button again.
but it does disappear occasionally.
I dont need first line support
This is clearly a bug that needs to be escalated.
Either do so, or close this with a link to the bug report.
Thank you!
Hi Alex,
We understand this issue has caused a great inconvenience to our SharePoint Online user. We have already reported this issue to our related resources and waiting for their responses.
The reason why Eric suggest the infected user creating a support ticket is because the phone support agent has the correct escalate channel for the SharePoint Online related issues. Since they could help you with a remote session, they could see this issue more clearly, and collect related logs for the escalation, this process couldn't be achieved in the this community. Deeply sorry about this.
If you have created a support ticket, please share us with the ticket number, and we could track on the procedure on this issue and share the updates with all the users in this thread.
Much appreciate for your understanding.
Regards,
Alex Chen
