Recently, when I click the Edit button to go into Editing mode in SharePoint Online, the Republish button doesn't display where it used to. In order to get it to show back up I have to refresh the page. Click Edit button. Republish button missing. Refresh the page. This popup keeps reappearing no matter how many times I close it out. After closing the pop-up, the Republish button has returned. Clicking the Republish button puts me back at Step 1. I have to go through this process every time I want to Republish any page. As you can see, this quickly becomes annoying. Please help!

I can confirm this is happening to us too. It is definitely intermittent. But OP is not alone.

Update - We opened a ticket with MS. MS wanted a Fiddler trace to verify that this is not our network issue. Although, we have doubts but shared Fiddler trace and waiting for feedback.

As Eric mentioned previously, we are having troubles to reproduce this issue in our test environment, however, considering there are more and more users report the same issue in this thread, we would like to make a short summary to help the other infected users to identify the issue quickly. Issue Symptom: ----------------------- When editing the pages in SharePoint Online, after click on Edit , the Republish button will be missing on the pages. Republish is missing in the following image: Also per TrippMD & mlewis' discussion, this issue won't appear on the newly created pages, but if you refresh the new pages after the first publish, this issue will reoccur. Recommendation: ----------------------- Currently, we are trying to involve more related resources on this issue, unfortunately, we only have limited resources to report this issue, if you are encountering with the same/similar issue in your tenant, please raise a support ticket as webbrewers3 & malikfarhan mentioned. This will draw more attention from the SharePoint Dev Team and speed up the fixing procedure. Thank you for responding, Alex Actually the sequence for me is as follows: Edit page Most of the time, the Republish will be there If it is there, I will Republish and all is well Keeping the page up, I Edit again The Republish button is gone I then need to refresh the page The Republish button reappears I make my changes and then Republish It took me awhile to figure out the right sequence to get my work done. Hope that helps.

Yes, thank you Alex. My update - I have been editing all morning and it appears that all is well again. Hopefully this was just a hiccup that lasted longer than it should have (about 3 weeks for me). I have edited pages as well as articles and everything is behaving properly just like before this issue started. I will continue to monitor editing environment and update if anything changes that is out of the norm. Good luck to everyone else!

It took me awhile to figure out the right sequence to get my work done.
