SharePoint Republish Button Disappearing

Recently, when I click the Edit button to go into Editing mode in SharePoint Online, the Republish button doesn't display where it used to. In order to get it to show back up I have to refresh the page.

  1. Click Edit button.

  1. Republish button missing.

  1. Refresh the page. This popup keeps reappearing no matter how many times I close it out.

  1. After closing the pop-up, the Republish button has returned.

  1. Clicking the Republish button puts me back at Step 1. I have to go through this process every time I want to Republish any page.

As you can see, this quickly becomes annoying. Please help!

    A fix should have been deployed for this issue during these days, do you guys still receive the same issue?

    Still happening - need at the very least a response and timeline for a fix from Msft. Their whole attitude is very disrespectful.

    WHEN IS THIS GOING TO GET ADDRESSED BY mSFT?

    And now I notice another new variant of this issue - when a page is in edit mode, the "save as draft" option is (sometimes) disabled. The modern ui seems very unstable and incomplete in general. Why is available for use on production siteswhen it's clearly neither ready nore adequately tested?

    Any update on when this is going to be fixed? Since we started handing off content creation to users I'm getting 20+ calls a day about why their changes don't show up. The answer is simple: THE REPUBLISH BUTTON DOESN'T APPEAR! So they don't know their changes aren't published. It's OBVIOUSLY supposed to but doesn't unless you refresh the page. This is a low level fix - what are we waiting for?
