SharePoint Republish Button Disappearing

Recently, when I click the Edit button to go into Editing mode in SharePoint Online, the Republish button doesn't display where it used to. In order to get it to show back up I have to refresh the page.

  1. Click Edit button.

  1. Republish button missing.

  1. Refresh the page. This popup keeps reappearing no matter how many times I close it out.

  1. After closing the pop-up, the Republish button has returned.

  1. Clicking the Republish button puts me back at Step 1. I have to go through this process every time I want to Republish any page.

As you can see, this quickly becomes annoying. Please help!

    I was responding to a post hhailp created on 22/4/2020. My page is not fixed so unsure what is going on.

    @hhailp  Where do you see a fix was deployed? This issue hasn't even been acknowledged by Msft anywhere we can see despite the numerous reports - so where is this mystery fix?

    It is still happening for us with one page. It is very strange. Probably means we will have to create another page and redo the content. Very annoying.

    It seems to be working but it still doesnt hold the edits and you have to go back to previous versions. Still having to use the save as a draft option first then republish
