Restart Office to apply changes to your privacy settings - endless notices

No that made it worse. I found the solution. It is so stupid it can only be M$ problem!

SOLUTION: WHEN THIS APPEARS, GET ALL YOUR DEVICES TOGETHER AND ONE BY ONE RESTART AT LEAST ONE OPEN OFFICE APP IN EACH MACHINE (IF NONE OPEN, THEN OPEN ONE TO FORCE THE RESTART).

Unbelievable.

PS: If you don't do this on every device that has Office when you open that forgotten device with Office then it will cascade the whole things again. STOOOOOPID M$

I am particularly angry as my Office is 2016 Pro(! what a joke!).

If this works for you over the long haul, that is, you don’t have redo it in less than a month, please let us know. 

I’m just ignoring mine. Office gets restarted the next time I close and open my Office apps, as a matter of due course.

I have no idea what MS is in such a hurry about. Like I’m gonna miss out on their glorious functionality if I use an Office app for one session without first restarting?

The only thing that really bothers me is having my non-MS email accounts broken by asking for passwords, which was a big deal until I realized my phone handles them in their own apps fine enough to not interrupt my workflow.

Any nearly weekly after updates Microsoft continues to change property setting across my devices include privacy settings with this prompt still endlessly continuing. It's unbelievable what total lack of control they have forced on anyone agreeing to utilize their OS.
