IF you are going to have an expired PC you need to get used to Googling and learning about it for many safety reasons. Otherwise you may want to consider an Apple computer. It's far more black box - out of your hands. They make the hardware, software and antivirus stuff all in one and you don't have to take responsibility for your computer.

Just use Google search.

Google 'how to stop automatic updates in Windows XP'

Google 'how to uninstall an updates in Windows XP'

and anything else you need. 

It's easier and far more reliable than going to a forum and asking someone you don't know. You could easily be given the wrong instructions. 

And your Windows XP might have slightly different updates or directory locations so it's far better to get these instructions reliably off the web. 

It's not that I don't want to help but all I'm going to do is Google the instructions and copy and paste them for you and still, I might steer you in the wrong direction, so I hesitate answering all your questions.

Where can I find these updates?  The other night I did a system restore of my computer to an earlier time (basically to the time when I shut my computer off earlier that day when before the updates had been installed to them) and everything started to work again for me.  But today (8-1-2019), these updates have been automatically installed to the computer (again, without my permission) and now I am getting all of these popup warning messages again.  Yesterday, these updates were automatically downloaded to my computer, but I turned it off last night without the updates being installed.  Then, when I turned it on again today, everything seemed to be working fine, but apparently these updates have been automatically installed again and I am getting the warning messages again concerning my Microsoft Office 2010 programs no longer working.  I guess I can do the system restore again, but how can I stop this from constantly occurring?
