Good day team.

We're getting this when opening any document in office 2010. We're running it on WinXP SP3 32 bits.

"The procedure entry point EnumCalendarinfoExEx could not be located in the dynamic link library kernel32.dll"

Haven't found any solution so far, all help is welcome.

OMG! I was having the same error message "The procedure entry point EnumCalendarInfoExEx could not be located in the dynamic link library Kernel32.dll" So I checked to see what updates had been installed since I was in the office last week... KB4462157 on 1/18/2019. Uninstalled that one and Excel is now working! I hope this fix works for you as well.

    Hi John,

    Just saw the post chain from Feb 14, 2019. I removed KB4462174 (along with adjusting the auto updates) and all my MSFT Office Pro 2010 products are working again. Thanks John,

    I used the Add or Remove Programs to remove KB4462157 a couple weeks ago like mention and my microsoft office started working again.  I shut down and got back on a week later and received the same error, so i removed KB4462157 again. Now i boot up, can't open any MSFT Office Pro 2010 product again and get the same error. But, when i go to control panel, Add or Remove Programs i can't find the KB4462157 update to remove it. Is there another KB# update that causes this problem also? Thanks.

    Sonya, I think any of the recent updates that mention Japanese when you look up what they do, are causing the problem. I have turned off my updates for the moment but I was clicking on each one to see what they do and if it mentioned Japanese I unclicked the install and clicked the dont offer it to me again bit.

    Hi Sonya

    Look for update KB4462174 and delete that - that fixed my problem after it re-occurred.  To prevent the unwanted updates from coming back you need to go to Control Panel/Classic View/Automatic Updates and instead of ticking "turn off automatic updates" tick "notify me but don't automatically download or install them".  Then, when you get the yellow shield in the task bar advising that there are updates ready you should download them and untick the ones that you don't want, e.g. 4461614, 4462157, 4462174, and then tick the box that comes up asking "don't notify me again about these".  That gets rid of them for good - he says with fingers crossed.
