ERROR code: 0x80070185

When someone else in our OneDrive has downloaded files in the past, I used to be able to click on those same files and they would open without issue. Now, I get the above error code and have to continue to hit "try again." Does anyone have any idea as to why all of the sudden I'm having this problem? Thank you.

    How is this an issue?  Dropbox, Google Drive and every other cloud service does not have any issues.  We pay for our Windows licenses, our Office 365 subscriptions, OneDrive, etc and we can't open our documents like we can with those free services.  Cloud drives are nothing new so I'm confused as to why the essential inventor of PCs can't figure out how to make their product work.  I'm not asking for help because I don't need some dev with 20 years of experience telling me, the end user, to reprogram my entire computer every time THEIR software fails.  Google does not fail.  Dropbox does not fail.  Why does Microsoft fail? 

    I find it comical that this error message starts with "An unexpected error..."  Right, like MS customers don't expect errors.  I'd like to see a pop up that says, "An unexpected lack of errors..."

    Same problem.  I've got LOTS of stuff on OneDrive, or at least I thought I did  - but not one of the "official" fixes I've read and tried do anything.  Shame on me for relying on it so much I guess.  REALLY puts me in a bind too.

    This does not work I have tried it several times and just does nothing. I could really use some advice. Thank you for anyone who can assist
