Planner Task Link Attachment To OneNote Page 'Invalid'

Good Morning,

Has anyone experienced an issue with the Task Attachment Links to OneNote becoming 'invalid urls'?  I have several Teams that have Planners and OneNote notebooks.  I typically have added a link on individual tasks to individual pages in the OneNote notebook for the Team/Planner group.  A few days ago, I noticed these links were still taking me to the OneNote notebook but not to the page...they were taking me to the first section first page only.

When editing the link anything to a page is considered an invalid url now.

Hi All,

Thanks for all your feedback! We have involved more resources to check this issue and will share the updates once available. Here I would like to provide a summary so that other community members can easily identify the symptoms.

Symptoms:

When we go to Planner task > add attachment > Link > Add the link, we will get error message “Please enter a valid url” if the link including symbols like & ! ^ * “”

Assessment:

More resources have been involved to check this issue. We will post back when there is any update.

    My colleagues are having the same issue.

    Attempting to link to a Word doc stored on Teams and insert it in an individual task on Planner using the "add attachment" feature. We're getting an 'invalid url' message.

    Just started experiencing this within the last few days.

    A workaround has been to insert into the comments section. However, sometimes when you click the link to open the doc, it will launch the web browser but the doc won't actually open. 

    Please advise.

    I am facing the same issue and I found out the problem is because of the '&' character in the url. 

    The below is NOT accepted as a valid url

    http://serverName/DEV/Webforms/Name_Stream/Form01/Form01.php?region=Central%20America**&idiom=ES&**ticket=0

    But this is:

    http://serverName/DEV/Webforms/Name_Stream/Form01/Form01.php?region=Central%20Americaidiom=ESticket=0

    Unfortunatelly our urls need the parameters, so I hope Microsoft will fix this as soon as possible. This is the first time I see this error since I've started to use it on January. Waiting for a feedback on this.

    Yeah, we use Planner a lot for tasks and other things that require web links so for now, we're having to do workarounds.  I was getting responses for a few days from MS but now that they've pushed this issue up to another level, they've gone silent.
