Planner Task Link Attachment To OneNote Page 'Invalid'

Good Morning,

Has anyone experienced an issue with the Task Attachment Links to OneNote becoming 'invalid urls'?  I have several Teams that have Planners and OneNote notebooks.  I typically have added a link on individual tasks to individual pages in the OneNote notebook for the Team/Planner group.  A few days ago, I noticed these links were still taking me to the OneNote notebook but not to the page...they were taking me to the first section first page only.

When editing the link anything to a page is considered an invalid url now.

Hi All,

Thanks for all your feedback! We have involved more resources to check this issue and will share the updates once available. Here I would like to provide a summary so that other community members can easily identify the symptoms.

Symptoms:

When we go to Planner task > add attachment > Link > Add the link, we will get error message “Please enter a valid url” if the link including symbols like & ! ^ * “”

Assessment:

More resources have been involved to check this issue. We will post back when there is any update.

    Hi All,

    Thank you for reporting this.

    I have test from my side and following are my test result:

    1. I right click a page in a notebook in OneNote 2016 and select "Copy Link to Page", then I paste it in a planner (Click in the planner> Add attachment> Link> Paste) and I get the "Please enter a valid url" too.

    The url is

    1. When I share a file in OneDrive to people in my organization and copy the link to planner in attachment and I can save the url correctly, the invalid error does not appear. 

    The url is

    https://<myusername>-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/g/personal/<myusername>/Ef8nAoOYWIZEq1QaGdApKMEBb0ML3YupdnIwGvzurNad2Q?e=KsnP9k

    But when I click specific people and type in a name of an user, then I paste the url in a planner in attachment, the invalid error appears.

    The url is

    https://<myusername>.sharepoint.com:443/:x:/g/personal/<myusername>/EXp7lk-WFaBCrIcb4IeQHjQB_hSCOhGXKA7MJo6Nw1u5uw?email=<specificuser>&e=bdeleS

    So could you please help share the link which you paste in a planner in attachment to share with me (please remove your private information)? @IT 27118@Hurtigh@Japete@João Tempera

    Same problem here. Since last week I'm having this problem.

    If I create a link to share an Excel file (for example) with people specific inside my company, and when I attach that link to a Planner task, it will report that my URL is invalid.

    On the other hand, if I repeat this process, but instead choose the "specific people" option to choose "People in my company", the link is valid. This could be a solution, but I have some files that I do not share with everyone, even if they work with me ...

    Any insights to solve this issue?

    Sorry to jump in but I have a similar issue. I believe what the OP is asking is to insert a ON link on a Planner card to have the task documentation readily available.

    In my case I can't paste a link to a ON paragraph/page/section as a Planner attachment (link or Sharepoint) at all. That is, the URL is said to be invalid. As far as I can remember I've been able to do this flawlessly before!
