OneDrive search not working

The search function in the top left doesn't return any results. It used to return results if the given search term appeared in either a file name or the body of a file.

    I'm having the same issue. The folder has 100 plus documents with the word permit but when searching permit - all files - states NO ITEMS MATCH YOUR SEARCH.  

    1. I've tried removing shared files and having source reshare.
    2. File shared with me allows me to edit.  
    3. Another person has the same shared file and same issue - when searching states nothing matches.

    I've been having this problem for over a month and no one seems to be able to help us.  

    Can someone please look into this, maybe go into our account and visual look for yourselves to possibly find the issue. ?

    I've been in touch with Support, and have heard back that the 3rd line team / OneDrive developers are aware of the problem and are working on it.

    In view of the fact that search obviously doesnt work (it has been on and off for me for months, and look at all the people with the same issue, plus, they are aware and working on it!) you would think they would take the search panel away. This is a huge problem for people who rely on OneDrive.

    I have exactly the same problem. I can't find a file named "Master Reseller Agreement.docx" by searching for "Master Reseller". This is so obviously broken.  Fortunately I mirror OneDrive and Google Drive, and Google Drive search finds the document instantly.
