OneDrive search not working

I found a working alternative for OneDrive search. Unfortunately this currently takes too long in my computer though.

1.Follow the following video and setup your one drive as a network drive to your computer:

2.Open File Explorer, navigate to your network drive and use the search button at the top right.

File explorer is going to very slowlly search every folder of your OneDrive and will finally find the files you are looking for.

Please, let me know if this method does not work in your computer.

Why on earth would you do that? Voidtool’s Everything can achieve exactly that in under one second. 

I would like to receive what I paid Microsoft for.

Thanks but I really just want Microsoft to get their act together and fix One Drive so it works in the way it's supposed to work so I can get what I paid for.

I had this issue in 2019, then I switched to competitor. Payed for Office 365 in 2020 with "let's give them a chance, Office is cool, the cloud must be fixed already". Mistake. Can't find the documents by name, can't find the documents by content, sometimes a re-upload helps, sometimes re-upload doesn't help. What the gosh is happening to Microsoft :/ This is a no go. All the workarounds like "try to search on your desktop" don't help, I don't carry my desktop everywhere I go. And I can't index the files locally on my phone.

Dropbox? Numba one IMO. Even the desktop client has a "search functionality", I don't have to start a web browser at all, just click into Tray and search.
