The search function in the top left doesn't return any results. It used to return results if the given search term appeared in either a file name or the body of a file.

Yes, you will probably have to resort to the renaming trick until the button arrives.

Yes, this probably is business plan and up. I don't know how to do it on my personal OneDrive.

I agree, a "Reindex Site" button on the web page and app may be an easy workaround for what could be a complex problem to them.

My url? Not sure what that would be. I access OneDrive via a personal license on Microsoft 365.

Or is this a solution for enterprise customers only?

That said, a "Reindex site" might be a useful addition to the OneDrive web client and mobile apps, if you're listening Microsoft.

Because onedrive is just sharepoint under the hood, you can cause a re-index without moving files backwards and forwards. You go to your own URL of the form:

https://mydomaincomau-my.sharepoint.com/personal/name_mydomain_com_au/_layouts/15/srchvis.aspx replacing mydomaincomau and name_mydomain_com_au with whatever your url is, andClick the Reindex site button.
