OneDrive search not working

The search function in the top left doesn't return any results. It used to return results if the given search term appeared in either a file name or the body of a file.

    Hi. Did you solve the Search issue. I have identical problem and not getting anywhere near solving

           A OneDrive root-index must have had, and has issues,
