The search function in the top left doesn't return any results. It used to return results if the given search term appeared in either a file name or the body of a file.

I'm also having problems with the One Drive app search - I can see the files in the app if I manually browse the folders, but they are not appearing when I search for them or check the "Recents" tab.

Besides using the "everything" software the search, I find another way.

    After you sync:

    1\ write : dir /s [sync] >file into a new txt file.

    for example: dir /s E:\Save\ >1.txt

2\ change the txt file into a bat file

3\ run the bat file and you will get 1.txt which include all the file name on the onedrive.

4\ Open 1.txt and search the file which you want.

5\ you can delete the sync fold on your local disk

I still have the problem. But I use everything(a software) to search the local disk and find the file which I want.

Microsoft told me they fixed the problem. I tried the Search function and it seems to be working ok now.

I'm still waiting on a reply from Microsoft

I came to a solution to this problem. You can synchronize onedrive to your local hard disk. And you can search the file name without store the real file.

My problem is I have lots of files, so this sync will slow down my hard disk. And it can not burn into a .ISO file.
