OneDrive search not working

The search function in the top left doesn't return any results. It used to return results if the given search term appeared in either a file name or the body of a file.

    Hmm, it should work

    1. When searching in Windows, don't forget to switch to 'Documents' tab to check results. The BestMatch in 'All' tab shows only matches in file names
    2. If still not working, start Indexing Options and check the advanced options for pdf, if you have 'Index Properties and File Contents' enabled

    Lame advice.

    1. They are saying this for years "we are working on the problem" blah blah blah.
    2. What if I want to use OneDrive searching on my phone? Am I supposed to carry my computer with me?
    3. To make a search on PC, I must download all files locally.

    If I have everything on my Windows machine and I am supposed to carry it with me wherever I go - I don't need this 'amazing' Microsoft cloud at all.

    To the Windows 10 Indexing. It should work better but I have to admit I am experiencing similar problems. Sometimes I don't get the result. Although I am pretty sure the file is there and ... should be indexed.

    You can't find content of specific PDF or the search doesn't work at all?
