OneDrive search not working

The search function in the top left doesn't return any results. It used to return results if the given search term appeared in either a file name or the body of a file.

    I'm am having this issue with the onedrive app on a mobile device. It will find some files but not others. it has been confirmed that the file is there in the folder. The files are pdf's and have been uploaded to the onedrive. when I search for a known file its not found. uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app. also same problem with the desktop.

    Microsoft just remove the search function if you can't figure it out to work!!!

    Same problem here.

    recently OneDrive for Android no longer finds data using search. The problem exists on several Samsung devices.

    It only affects my business account. I also have a private Onedrive set up as a 2nd account, this one works.

    The example in the screenshots is intended to show how the file "personalausweis..." is NOT found. But that worked 2 weeks ago.

    Moving the files to another location did not help either. Uninstalling the OneDrive app and using an older version did not help either, possibly the server is not providing a response.

    Microsft now does the same as google with all your documents.
