OneDrive search not working

The search function in the top left doesn't return any results. It used to return results if the given search term appeared in either a file name or the body of a file.

    I am also having the same issue. Search via the OneDrive web interface has just stopped working.

    Yes, you will probably have to resort to the renaming trick until the button arrives.

    Because onedrive is just sharepoint under the hood, you can cause a re-index without moving files backwards and forwards. You go to your own URL of the form:

    https://mydomaincomau-my.sharepoint.com/personal/name_mydomain_com_au/_layouts/15/srchvis.aspx replacing mydomaincomau and name_mydomain_com_au with whatever your url is, andClick the Reindex site button.

    It's definitely great that this workaround is available. One would hope, though, that M$ will create a UI function to give the index a kick without having to move the entire contents, twice.
