We have an application which was working okay till last month. But after the last windows update our clients are getting issues with access database. access database got corrupted. We ran compact and repair. But it still getting corrupted again and again. This issue started right after the window update. clients are on different OS. Like server 2018, server 2012 and windows 10.
Is there anything i have check in new windows update or any other step to prevent database corruption?

So I tried a new DB and linking to the data in the old one and that still won't work. I still cannot open my database. if I can't get this solved, i'm going to return this machine and then not ever get a PC again! I have nothing but problems with PCs.
You definitely have a different issue than this tread is about.
You should search for recovering a corrupt DB. Sometimes you can start a new DB and link -import from the corrupt DB.
A quick search found the following link it looks like it has the few easier ways to hopefully fix the existing DB
Usually the easiest way is to restore from a backup and recreate the data since that restore point.

Thank you, I will look at that link. The weird thing is that the DB is perfectly fine on my other Windows 10 machine. I just copied the DB and put it onto my home computer with Windows 10 and I can't open it and get that error. Like I said, I will check out that link.

Ok so they are added as new lines and I rebooted my machine. The issue still persists. I would try repairing and compacting it, but doesn't that require the ability to open the DB? It won't let me even open it, I just get that error.
Yes they are normally new lines. I believe the computer needs a reboot.
If you are still having the same error, it may be a different issue than the one in this thread.
The issue here is random lockup and a compact - repair fixes the problem for a while. Have you tried to compact and repair the DB?
