We have an application which was working okay till last month. But after the last windows update our clients are getting issues with access database. access database got corrupted.  We ran compact and repair. But it still getting corrupted again and again.  This issue started right after the window update. clients are on different OS. Like server 2018, server 2012 and windows 10.

Is there anything i have check in new windows update or any other step to prevent database corruption?

Hi! I honestly haven't seen what that is when searching. I've read about it but never saw the actual fix. I'd appreciate if you could reply with it.

    Thank you for your reply!

Hello, I am having this same issue on my new Windows 10 machine whether the Access database is in .mdb format or .accdb. This database works on my work computer that also is windows 10 and is also running Office 365.

The issue occurs every time I try to open the database. "Unrecognized database format [lists the path].accdb' No error code.

    Please help!

    Thanks,

    Stephanie

Has anyone had any luck applying the suggested workaround to a NetApp appliance?

You really should create you're own thread relating to this most recent issue as it is a separate problem and not related to the unrecognized database bug.

But yes, recent update has broken an aspect of VBA, you can read up on the subject and fixes that are available by reviewing
