How do I stay signed in?

I sign into Office 365 on my browser (on my Mac). I used to be able to choose to stay signed in, but something happened and now I get automatically signed out every night.

And yes, one time I chose the "Don't show this message any more" option, but I did NOT turn off the option to stay signed in.... only the message that gave me the option. Now I cannot find any way/button to "Stay Signed In" any more. How do I change this back? I'm tired of signing back in every morning.

    Hi Matt & Myles,

    For Office 365 tenants, there is a default session timeout in OWA of 6 hours, that is set for all tenants and admins can configure that or disable the session timeout if they desire.

    If you need further help, I’ll suggest you post a new thread in Outlook>Office 365 category for proper resolution.

    This is BS. MS and its minions repeatedly prove "solutions" that make no sense. What the heck is an "Office 365 Portal"?! Why did MS screw with something that works? Excel and Word didn't use to require signing in every time they were opened, but they do now. WHY?!

    I've had it with MS and have canceled Office 365.

    Please, please Microsoft address this issue it is a very high impact problem for me. Workarounds above are not working. While I can get the 'stay logged in' prompt in an incognito window I am still logged out during each day. As another user said this causes big problems when I am logged out during meetings or calls and can't access my calendar etc.

    I have the same problem, but only in Chrome on my PC. 

    I stay signed in with IE on my PC and Chrome, Safari, and Firefox on my Mac. 

    I have signed out and cleared my cache and I still don't get the dialog with the option to stay signed in.
