Hi, never really posted in one of these things before I this is sort of an emergency, I have an important document due in a few days for uni and all was going good until I encounter the error 'the name in the end tag of the element must match the element type in the start tag' which is preventing me from opening my document.
Naturally when I encounter this error I googled and attempted many fixes and have been attempting to edit the document.xml file for around 4 hours now to no avail.
I would greatly appreciate some help in how to overcome this error, I've linked a google drive folder with both the entire word document as a .rar file and the document.xml file as well as a screenshot of the error below.
I really don't know how to use this site but any help would be appreciated tremendously due to the importance of me resolving this error quickly.

The error in the file indicates that you are using a copy of Office 2010 that has NOT been updated with Service Packs 1 and 2 as the cause of that error was eliminated by one of those Service Packs.

If the document is not too large to attach to an email message, send me a copy of it that way, referencing this thread in the covering email message and I will see if I can recover your document.
Alternatively, upload a copy of the document to the following folder of my OneDrive

You should update your Office installation as the cause of errors, of the type present in your document, was eliminated by the issue of Service Pack 1

I suspect that your document was saved to a usb drive or some form of removable media as the essential document.xml file was incomplete. By adding the necessary
</w:body>
</w:document>
xml tags to properly terminate the file and also by correcting about 35 other errors through out the file, it was possible to then open the file

It is obvious that the file is incomplete, but there is no more that can be recovered from it.
