Error- the name in the end tag of the element must match the element type in the start tag

Hi, never really posted in one of these things before I this is sort of an emergency, I have an important document due in a few days for uni and all was going good until I encounter the error 'the name in the end tag of the element must match the element type in the start tag' which is preventing me from opening my document.

Naturally when I encounter this error I googled and attempted many fixes and have been attempting to edit the document.xml file for around 4 hours now to no avail.

I would greatly appreciate some help in how to overcome this error, I've linked a google drive folder with both the entire word document as a .rar file and the document.xml file as well as a screenshot of the error below.

I really don't know how to use this site but any help would be appreciated tremendously due to the importance of me resolving this error quickly.

    Nina,

    As I was not able to do anything with the document  because of the password, things to avoid are:

    1. Images inserted with the layout other than "In Line with text"
    2. the insertion of "Compound" images by which I mean images with annotations inserted over them by the use of text box or overlaid with shapes (arrows, etc,), or groups of images.   If it is desired to use such "Compound" images, create them in a separate document and then use a screen capture utility such as Snagit from www.techsmith.com to create a screen capture which can be inserted into your document as a single image, In Line with text.

    Could you please give me an idea of why this happened to my document?

    It is a very important document and I am afraid that if I redo it, the same issue will happen.

    I have seen you been really helpful!

    I kinda have the same problem, and am wondering if you could help me out? I tried everything I can put still can't see the whole document.

    It's my dad's work and it's driving him crazy right now. He said it should have 7-8 pages in total.
