Sharepoint online frequent sites

My frequent sites never changes. It is only showing 3 sites and they are sites I haven't visited in several months. How do I get this to update with actual frequently visited sites?

Hi All,

Considering this thread has aged, it may be difficult for members and us to follow up separately. Besides, the original poster Stacey has resolved the issue, and we have also received feedback from other members that the issue has been resolved itself. This thread will be closed from further posting for affected users to easily identify the information since there may be different root causes for different tenants.

You can follow the steps I mentioned in the summary above to try troubleshooting the issue.

Ensure you have deleted the sites. If you are an admin in the tenant, please try removing the deleted site via Remove-SPODeletedSite command manually.
After you manually delete the deleted sites, please wait for 30 days and check if the situation remains.

If the issue persists, please feel free to post a new thread in this forum, we are more than willing to help you resolve it separately.

Can you just let us know if the fix promised in this thread is going to happen or not?

I am also experiencing this issue and have a ticket open with Office 365 support, could you please PM me so I can have my tenant information added to the ticket for this specifically as well? I've exhausted all other options via PowerShell as well and have one deleted subsite from an Office 365 group that refuses to vanish, although other deleted sites go away on their own correctly.
