My frequent sites never changes.  It is only showing 3 sites and they are sites I haven't visited in several months.  How do I get this to update with actual frequently visited sites?

Hi All,

Considering this thread has aged, it may be difficult for members and us to follow up separately. Besides, the original poster Stacey has resolved the issue, and we have also received feedback from other members that the issue has been resolved itself. This thread will be closed from further posting for affected users to easily identify the information since there may be different root causes for different tenants.

You can follow the steps I mentioned in the summary above to try troubleshooting the issue.

  1. Ensure you have deleted the sites. If you are an admin in the tenant, please try removing the deleted site via Remove-SPODeletedSite command manually.
  2. After you manually delete the deleted sites, please wait for 30 days and check if the situation remains.

If the issue persists, please feel free to post a new thread in this forum, we are more than willing to help you resolve it separately.

We appreciate your understanding.

Regards,

Yoga

Any update on the timeline? Migrating from G Suite and this is terribly confusing for our end users. Wish I would have known about this issue before I created test groups. Not exactly hopeful since people have been describing this issue since the new Sharepoint Experience debuted in 2016.

I'm having the same issue here.  It's been like this since 2016 and have not said anything till now.  Please fix this Microsoft.  As a MS partner, I sell SPO as part Office 365 to my clients and they're having this issue.  It's not acceptable that MS is not escalating this issue to High Priority.  I received several emails every month about product improvements but not with this SPO Frequent Site issue.
