Microsoft Assure - Answer Desk

Please will somebody, anybody, tell me how to get help from or in contact with Microsoft Assure Answer Desk.

I have a subscription to Assure (renewed in May 2017) which I pay for.

I now need help from Microsoft with some software issues but have discovered that I have no way of contacting Assure to get the help that I need. 

I have been round and round the Microsoft website but with no success at all.

This seems like another thing that Microsoft is keen to take your money but reluctant to provide the service for which you have paid.

Any help appreciated.

    That's pretty much what I was able to find online about azure vs assure. 

    Azure, a comprehensive set of cloud services for developers and IT professionals.

    Assure, a Microsoft software support plan for use on up to 5 personal devices. 

    I guess Microsoft might think differently.   

    As long as I've finally got my account settled/refunded, Microsoft can call it whatever they like.

    I am not sure about the business usage for Assure. But if Microsoft tries to bill me ever again they will have a fight on their hands. Glad to see you got some justice.

    First let me say, my issue with the request for renewal payment has been resolved.  Both have been canceled and refunded. 

    It does appear to be 2 separate "programs" or support options provided by Microsoft, being billed annually.   

    I'm not sure why Microsoft would have offered Azure to me, I don't run a business and not at all familiar with the "IT" world.  I didn't want to pay for services I knew nothing about and have never used.

    My experience is the total opposite of what you just said. Follow your posted advice and go to the Microsoft support website. You will find a "virtual agent." I typed in my problem: Office stalls. It came back with, "You lost your product registration key." Then, to talk to an agent, the site contradicts itself. First, it says agents are available 24/7. Then, it says agents are only available Mondays, 5a.m.-5p.m., T-F, 6-6, SS7-3. Why so cheap? Is Bill Gates bankrupt? Gates has my money 24/7. Where is the support I paid for?

    This post has so many responses and not all of them are mine. I know that you are supposed to be able to type in your email address or mobile phone and say you are with Microsoft Assure. But easier said than done as we all can see.
