Please will somebody, anybody, tell me how to get help from or in contact with Microsoft Assure Answer Desk.
I have a subscription to Assure (renewed in May 2017) which I pay for.
I now need help from Microsoft with some software issues but have discovered that I have no way of contacting Assure to get the help that I need.
I have been round and round the Microsoft website but with no success at all.
This seems like another thing that Microsoft is keen to take your money but reluctant to provide the service for which you have paid.
Any help appreciated.

I would like to update my account of $134 for one year.
I have an idea. Since so many of us are having this problem with Microsoft, I suggest contacting the Attorney General of your particular state. Let them know that others from around the country are doing the same.
This is a deceptive business practice. We pay for the Assure Plan to get individualized help with our Microsoft products. In the beginning, I'd tap that button on the left and immediately get to text someone that would actually text back and solve the problem.

Now, we are first thrown to the "community" for answers. Then if you pursue further to actually get any help, you have non-English speaking techs that never solve the problem. I have even written to Microsoft. Of course, no answer.
Most attorneys general have a web page that you can access and state your problem and what you have done to solve it. This is what they do. Solve problems. (I used to work there.) I'm doing it today.
I have the same problem but worse an upgrade added a name to my files that resulted in every thing disappearing.I had a week of help with a dozen of so Filipinos of both levels paid the blackmail money for Assure Support Plan got some files transferred to new title of them how ever since Dec 17 I,ve been continually frustrated by Documents with different subtitles then nothing after opening the,..Faxs Tax records onenote.contents Ebay PayPal records ..Because Defender still didn`t work the last guy wanted to delete everything $1000,s of purchases of gold field maps other digital purchases so they could download a fresh new Windows 10 2000kms away in Sydney.
At least with ranson ware you pay money get your system back NOT WITH WINDOWs Microsoft crippling half fixing using third world fixers ,all not wanting to loose face..Ran System restore but about every time 5x2hours it failed and they were long gone..Assure Support WHAT a joke and rip OFF !!

I thought I had it bad. This thread is now 6 pages and growing. The best advice so far has been to find a local tech that you trust. This is what I have done and while I do not have 24/7 support when I do have a problem I get it fixed first time .
If you are in remote area and a local tech is not an option all I can suggest is a rigorous backup scheme and damn good malware and virus protection.
